BlizzCon’s Diablo Immortal announcement was the last thing most core fans of the franchise wanted. Diablo 3 has pretty much run its course by now, and fans have been clamoring for the next great thing from the franchise. When Blizzard announced there would be multiple projects to be announced in 2018, it was hard not to be a little excited about the franchise’s future.
